Patient Care Across Languages: Meeting the Language and Health Literacy Needs of Elderly Patients

Physical and Occupational Therapy practitioners and graduate students are invited to participate in a research study evaluating an online training titled Patient Care Across Languages: Meeting the Language and Health Literacy Needs of Elderly Patients.

This self-paced  training (approximately 60–75 minutes) includes instructional videos and case-based learning activities focused on communication strategies for working with older adults with diverse language and health literacy needs.

Participants may choose to complete optional pre- and post-training surveys. Participation in the research component is voluntary, and the training module can be completed without completing the surveys. Although not required, your input will be valuable in assessing the effectiveness of the training and will help us make the training better for future learners.
